Jeep
Commander
When the Jeep Commander first came out I
was not sure how I felt about it. To me it looked like the Jeep
Cherokee was brought back to life, but given a major face lift. I
almost had to ask myself if the Jeep Cherokee was taken off the market
in 2001 for this reason? I used to have a
ECU
performance chip on mine.
The Jeep Commander brings back the
classic "boxy" jeep look I always liked. The Jeep Commander looks
like it was inspired from the classic Willy's wagons from the
1940's-1960's. I was not particularly thrilled when the Liberty
came out a few years back. To me it looked like they cut off the
front of the Jeep Wrangler and attached it to the back of a Jeep
Cherokee. Finally, Jeep has introduced a great looking vehicle.
Check out some Jeep Commander
pictures.

The Jeep Commander offers even more
than I am listing here. I just wanted to list some of the features
I grabbed off Jeep's web site for the 2006 jeep commander.
Daimler-Chrysler reported that sales of the
Jeep Grand Cherokee and the newly available 2006 Jeep Commander were
surprisingly strong during October 2005. Reported sales of the Grand
Cherokee were 14,298 Grand Cherokees sold, a 6% increase from
October 2004, and it was reported that there were 3,241 units for
the Commander sold in October 2005. This sales figure was achieved
in spite of the fact that the Commander was still being distributed
to dealers during the month.
